FEMALE BOX LACROSSE

Victoria-Esquimalt Lacrosse Association

The Home of Female Box Lacrosse on Southern Vancouver Island

All South Island female box lacrosse divisions are hosted by the Victoria-Esquimalt Lacrosse Association (VELA).

The four local associations came together to form a co-op agreement in a united effort to increase player numbers, organize fundraising, and create consistency. The goal is to establish a unique identity for our girls by establishing a solid foundation for growth and development.

Female registration numbers have increased 150 percent since implementation of the agreement in 2023!
