Volunteer Coaches shape our players by teaching teamwork, focus, humility, self-awareness, as well as facilitating physical and mental health that comes with practicing fundamentals and regular conditioning. Each Coach must complete an application and a Criminal Record Check must be performed. All applicants are reviewed by the Head Coach and the VELA Executive. Integrity is a must.
All successful Coach applicants will be required to complete the BCLA Fair Play Form, Criminal Record Check, accept the Coach Code of Conduct, and ensure they attend Coaching Clinics as applicable.
