2026 Season Registration

New players only must upload a copy of player's birth certificate and Services Card into RAMP Registration. Registration will not be complete until this is provided as it is now mandatory by BCLA.

Registration can be paid via e-transfer, cash, or cheque. Your child will not be considered registered until the association receives your payment in full.

If you are applying for a funding assistance grant, select the SPONSORSHIP payment option and notify the Treasurer by email velacrossetreasurer@gmail.com

NOTE: Players that are using sponsorship will not be considered registered until they provide proof of sponsorship by photo or letter from the sponsor (or application)

Female (only) Information:

All of the Female Divisions in the Greater Victoria area are being hosted by Victoria-Esquimalt Lacrosse Association, but you must still register with your catchment Association. Refer to the Female Box Lacrosse page for more information.

Registration fees may be paid by e-transfer directly to VELA: velacrossetreasurer@gmail.com. Please include your player's name, age division, and catchment association in the notes section.

Registration Priority

Registration is prioritized in the following order in the event of player releases:

1. Returning players / players who were released from the association the previous season
2. Siblings of returning players
3. Players who have played for VELA in the past two years
4. New players

NOTE: This list or prioritization is for registrations received prior to the regular registration deadline.

Discount Information (VELA Catchment Only):

Sibling discount is $25 (Regular price for oldest child, $25 off for each additional child).

When registering more than one child online please ensure you select the “add another player” button on the right side of the screen. All discounts will be added at the end. The sibling discount does not apply to Female Box Lacrosse players from outside of the VELA catchment.

The fee for shorts is $25. Shorts will be made available for purchase before the season starts. Jerseys may require a deposit that is collected and retained by each team's Manager.

Refund Policy

Refunds after March 31 only for medical/injury reasons. Must be accompanied by a doctor’s note and will be considered on a case-by-case basis by the Executive.
